Upper Lonsdale is a residential neighbourhood in North Vancouver, starting a few blocks south of the highway. While it starts out as the City of North Vancouver, the vast majority of homes (above 29th) are part of the District of North Vancouver.
Upper Lonsdale is a great neighbourhood to live, and has always been sought after. Most of the homes are single residential, and many have views of the ocean or mountains. This is a great place to raise a family, and you're not far from central lonsdale or the Quay.
Schools
The area is served by four elementary schools (Braemar Elementary, Larson Elementary, Carisbrooke Elementary, with Ecole André Piolat with a French program) , a junior high school (Balmoral Junior Secondary ) and Carson Graham Secondary to the west or Argyle Senior Secondary to the east.

Located at 3030 Lonsdale, Queens Market focuses on organic and natural products. If you're looking for fresh produce and meat, you're in the right place. There is an on site butcher, as well as a bakery and deli. They offer home delivery as well, which is free for seniors on orders over $25.
