Carson Graham 2011 grads Leah Bjornsonand Alyssa Salt with friends Sean Lusk, Linda Shahin and Mitchell Hoyle are organizing a spring clothing swap for teens, noon to 4 p.m. this Sunday, May 13 at Mollie Nye House, 940 Lynn Valley Rd. in North Vancouver. Teens are invited to take home a clothing item for every three donated. Excess clothes will be donated to Covenant House.

Just a Reminer! First time home buyers qualify for a tax credit in 2012

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2011, if both of the following apply:

• You or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home.
• You did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
